When Christus Health purchased the Good Shepherd Health System, it acquired one more jewel in its healthcare crown that covers all of East Texas, Southwest Arkansas and western Louisiana. Once the acquisition was completed, Christus wanted to be sure people understood that the hospitals and other care facilities that it owns, make up one complete network, offering extensive medical services across many specialties to all of its patients regardless of where they live. That’s a big job, so they turned to Encore Multimedia to create Christus Health’s first Ark-la-tex, regional, TV commercial.

The spot features some of the very best the hospitals have to offer in Texarkana, Longview, Marshall, Tyler in Texas and in Shreveport, Louisiana. An Encore video production crew spent several days over two weeks gathering video of some of the best each facility has to offer and while many of the shots feature the latest in hi-tech medical equipment, the emphasis is on the compassionate care every patient receives from the doctors, nurses and staff at each medical center.

The theme of the spot is “Care About You” and besides showing dedicated, caring medical professionals, it also reminds viewers that all care at Christus facilities is done as part of a faith-based system that believes in your spiritual as well as physical well-being. The commercial is airing on television, cable and satellite.
