Finding and Using Talent to Connect with Your Audience

It’s all about persona. Finding the right personality to represent your business can not only promote brand recognition but attract the right target audience as well. When you find talent who is relevant to your audience, they are far more likely to connect with your business and your brand, and isn’t that what marketing is all about?

Encore Multimedia recently produced a TV commercial for Air U, the premier indoor trampoline park and party center in Longview, Texas. With a “take flight” theme and an entertainment and recreation service targeted towards children and their parents, Creative Director Sue Stanton came up with the concept of “Captain Kid”, an informative, yet youthful character who highlights all the fun that Air U has to offer. Encore was on the quest to find just the right spokesperson, or should we say spokeskid.

Finding the right talent can be challenging, but after reaching out to The Arts View Children’s Theatre and an audition process, we found our Captain Kid. Dru M. turned out to be the perfect fit for the job, connecting with parents while speaking to kids on their level. Dressed as an airline pilot, his personality and character created a spot that is memorable, fun and informative: essential ingredients for effective marketing.

At Encore, we think strategically about every aspect of your marketing plan from logo design to TV production, and of course, finding the best spokesperson or talent to represent your business.
