Encore Multimedia is very excited about the accomplishments of one of its prized customers, Capacity of Texas. Capacity is a world-class supplier and builder of spotting tractors used to move freight in ports, rail yards, warehouses and distribution centers across North America and around the world. They are the first business in the industry to build a spotting tractor that is a pluggable hybrid electrical terminal truck, or a PHETT. These “green,” charge-sustaining tractors provide a 60% + reduction in fuel consumption, zero exhaust and noise emissions in battery mode, as well as the lowest operational cost of any other tractor available. At a recent press conference announcing the release of the PHETT tractor, Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison stated, “I am proud to say that Capacity is the only American-owned and operated manufacturer of this kind of product in the world. Capacity and the PHETT are leading the way in environmental stewardship and energy independence.” At the same press conference, Congressman Louie Gohmert stated that he “loves the can-do attitude of Capacity of Texas in building cutting edge vehicles.
