Joyce Crane - Pedestrian/Bike Bridge Lift
Joyce Crane frequently provides heavy-duty lifting and rigging services in the Longview area, and when the Longview Parks & Recreation Department needed a pedestrian/bike bridge lifted and placed over Guthrie Creek, they contacted the experts in safety and crane service.
Encore cinematographer Dave Stanton captured the dramatic footage as Joyce Crane used their LTM 1500-8.1 600 Ton Hydraulic All Terrain Crane to set the 25-ton steel bridge into place, creating a crossing for a new trail which will connect the Cargill Long Park Trail and Paul Boorman Trail.
The bridge has a 10-ton capacity, is wide enough for emergency vehicle crossing, and at 110’ in length, is the largest bridge in the Longview trail system. As part of the new system, Joyce Crane is also providing lifting services for two new tunnels.
